Faegheh Atashin who is referred as Googoosh was born February 2, 1951 in Tehran
Googoosh was a talented girl and swiftly learned how to imitate the famous singer’s songs. Soon after she found the microphone in her hands singing songs of Mostafa Payaaan, Delkash, Elaheh, Pooran, Ghazal, Indian Songs and even Johny Guitar for crowds!
In 1973 she was given the Carthage Honourable Medal of Tunisia by the Tunisian President. In Iran, she was given the Appreciation Prize for playing a role in the Movie Bita directed by Hazhir dariush. Iranian Papers also recognized her as the Beauty Queen of Singers, voted by their readers. She was also the TV host and singer of various TV programs including Cheshmak and Rangarang.
In Iranian national radio, she had successful broadcastings along with Aref, Vigen, Nouzari and Tabesh.

استطاعت كوكوش وبسهولة تعلم وتقليد أغاني الفنانين المشهورة. وسرعان ما بدأت بغناء أغاني ل مصطفى باياان، ديلكاش، الاهيه، بوران، غزال، أغاني هندية وحتى جوني جيتار للجمهور بمجرد ان مسكت الميكروفون.
تم تقليدها بوسام قرطاج الشرفي من قبل الرئيس التونسي في عام ١٩٧٣. استلمت جائزة تقدير في إيران لأدائها دور في فلم بيتا بإخراج هازير درويش، ملكة جمال المغنيات هو ما اطلق عليها من قبل الصحافة الايرانية والذي صوت عليه القراء. كانت المذيعة والمغنية لعدة برامج تلفزيونية منها تشيشماك ورانجارانج.
نجحت ايضاً في الراديو الايراني بجانب عارف وفيجين ونوزاري وتابيش
